A Christmas Trip to Paris

Over the Christmas holidays I went to Paris with my mum and granddad. My favourite thing was seeing the Eiffel tower. When we first went the queue was that long we decided to go back the next morning. When we went the next morning we had to wait for an hour before it opened. We went to the second floor and the got another lift up to the top of the Eiffel tower.

large glass and metal pyramid surrounded by three smaller pyramids, in the main courtyard Louvre Palace in Paris

We are a college of excellence where all pupils achieve their full
potential in their academic, creative, moral and spiritual development.

Stanford has committed staff and students. Our staff and students
are proud to be in Stanford and wear their uniform and college badge with
pride. Behaviour, attendance and achievements are monitored closely by all form
tutors and we, as a college, promote high standards to the rest of the school.
Our form boards are creative and promote who we are. All our achievements are
shared on our blog and on twitter.

We set the standard for the rest of the school. Our students and
staff are open and honest with each other. Students and staff support college
events. We contribute regularly to our college charity; the West Midlands Air
Ambulance and students with high attendance are recognised and celebrated in
the college.

The student’s in Stanford work hard in their lessons and during
form time to always achieve their very best. They are proud of their achievements
and they are valued by their teachers and the staff working with them. Students
in Stanford enjoy form time and particularly like spending time getting to know
their form group and fellow pupils in Stanford.

As a college all the staff and the students play an active role in
the college and all care about the welfare of each other. We are one community.
In Stanford there is a clear sense of belonging with a strong sense of sharing,
support and a cooperative ethos amongst tutors, the head of college and the
students. Stanford is a college where staff and students are cared for and are
valued.

Stanford is a college where we work together for consistency.
